Table F.1 Event and Action Plans for Construction Noise

Action Level	Undertake noise measurement/check monitoring data to establish validity of complaint. If the complaint is valid, inform Engineer and IEC verbally. Identify the source(s) of the noise. Discuss remedial actions required with Contractor and Engineer. Increase manual monitoring frequency to assess efficacy of remedial measures. If exceedance continues, review implementation of appropriate mitigation measures.	Review the analysed results submitted by the ET. Review the remedial measures proposed by the Contractor and advise the Engineer and ET accordingly. Verify the implementation of the remedial measures.	Notify Contractor of the complaint if proven.
