Nature is full of symmetrical objects to demonstrate the
beauty of balance. Balance can be considered as a state
in which different needs are satisfied or compromised.
Sustainable development only happens under this state.
The dragonfly on the cover is a symmetrical object with
the illustration of Lamma Power Station on the right hand
side and Hong Kong city on the left. This symbolises how
HKEI strives for a good balance for the city’s electricity
market in all key aspects to ensure a sustainable future
for both the city and the Group.
